Lets pretent that say ranged ammo used 4 mats instead of 9.

Would that make range ammo more cost effective?

Would it make leveling range easier?

Would you worry about the bulk on the Auto-launcher?

Would you still need 10 willing slaves to carry your ammo?

Feedback please.

I posted some thoughts on ranged figthing in the What this game needs.... thread which might interest you.
the only thing it doesnt cover is the weight, imho isnt such a problem really, i carry around enough pistol rounds to fill a lake and have plenty of space left, though this might be diff with launcher ammo, i wouldnt know.
imho weight should be extremely low.

i agree with you or the mats should go down or the clipsize should go up..

i will be leveling it in anyway tho but it would really speed up the process

actually i didnt say anything about increasing the clip size, just auto reloading would be a big help there already.

Glad to see all the lovely replys ..... maybe you should go in game and try crafting pistol ammo

It's actually not bad at all since the last patch,they upped basic weapon clip size to 24 and increased the damage massively - well effectively they did by making it economic to use choice mats for ammo!

Suffice to say - it takes me roughly 15 minutes to harvest enough mats to make ammunition to last me for several hours hunting.

I've found that you level on pistol, then rifle.

Autolaunchers are for Kitin invasions..............

Confirmed last night...

Pistol ammo is now 4 mats and hunting with a pistol at lvl 21 Range, is both cost effective and fun!
