Unfortunate Goodbye

Firstly I want to appologise to the members of my guild who I didnt have the opportunity to say this in person!
I'm leaving Ryzom for fields a new. I tried to log back on between the last patches to say goodbye in person but rather typically I kept crashing and finally lost patience. I am back to the stage I was at during a previous patch where I simply cant log into Ryzom without crashing 5-15 minutes into the game. Enough is enough and this was the straw that broke the donkeys back.
I managed to be logged in long enough to make Twitches the leader, what you do now and who you elect as leader is up to you. I did notice that not many people seemed to be logged in the last few times I managed to get in myself, maybe this is indicatative of how we all see Ryzom these days, maybe not.
The fact remains I've been in Ryzom since OB1 and seen many things come and go. I guess ultimately I feel sorrow that the game is so far from completion having been invoved with it for so long. I simply dont enjoy the time I spend playing Ryzom at this point in time and I dont feel the product displays value for money. I hope the devs have enough time to fulfill the potential shown but the already dwindling/dis-insterested player base tells its own story.
I hope I'm wrong about Ryzom and can come back to the game I should have been playing 2 months ago in say 6-12 months but who knows?
For those I know, farewell and hopefully see you soon. For those I dont, find another post to flame as what you say is of no interest to me if you couldnt speak to me in game first.
