Current Development Process?

Did we get everything on the list of "Current Development Process"? http://www.ryzom.com/forum/showthread.php?t=5864
I don't see some of the things in the patch notes.
Will we get another patch or is this how things will be?

Can someone tell me what the Devs mean when they say something has be "reviewed"?

. Mobs' spell resistance check for direct damage spells has been reviewed.

Was anything changed or did they just look at it?

9 times out of 10 when folks have been complaining about something repeatedly, "reviewed" is a euphamism for made easier. They may not specify whether bugged code was fixed or numbers just tweaked to lower resist rates but I am confident the end result is that we will now see fewer resists.

I must say that I have noticed that blind seems to be working better since this patch (or whatever patch, dont remember atm), although it is still not as powerful as it was prepatch.

As a low level ... heh - I can't say "mage" ... spell-chunker (around 32 OM), last night I found that maddness, the one spell I got to thinking was totally worthless, did land and stick more often after this latest patch. Sometimes, with the same lvl mob each time, it would be resisted and then the next one it would land and stick until the wee beastie was dead. Hmmm - maybe the spell isn't so worthless after all... IMHO the magic situation is a little less bad.

It's harder than at the very first, but not so bad I feel like I can't win.

The whole post Patch 1 situation makes me wonder if I should have just let my main avatar be and started another one with the new rules. I hadn't gotten all that far yet so it wouldn't have been that big of a loss. It seems all I think about when playing now is how strong I thought my little Soma was and now no longer is. It's a feeling of loss that seems hopelessly beyond healing.

I think if you have an empty slot by all means make a new avatar. I highly recommend it, I have 3 and find that I can make some adjustment, via choices for stanzas, and while learning to strengthen my main I learn about spells and such that I want to pursue that otherwise I would hesitate to do.

I cant really see what points people have made about the patch saying magic havent changed...

lol its WAY easier to level in magic now or is it just me??? before the pacth i couldnt hardly kill any creatures, all i could rely on to gain XP in magic was healing...

Now i can kill gingos, and other creatures, wich i wasnt able to before...

Killing Wary Bawaabs with my guildmate I found my Acid DD's getting resisted 9/10 times. Maybe Bawaabs are resistant. I tried soloing a robust. I got a few resists but not nearly as many. I died. hah, my bad for trying to fear it first or that last acid woulda let me win. Bawaabs are immune fear and stun...or did I try to stun it? I forget what I sent. It wandered behind a tree as I was casting.

Anyways...Robust are 1 yellow star. Wary are 2. I can solo melee up to three stars but I can barely solo vs 1, that will give me relatively little experience.

This also means that in grouping Nukers are pretty worthless. They hit slower, because casting takes more time...I have a 100% heal speed casting amp and it's only about as fast as a pike.

So acid and everything, which I don't have the 100% amp for, is MUCH slower. In groups vs. big mobs, nukers are suffering by doing less damage.

This may just be bawaabs though. I was in another group and the nuker was hitting for 1k hp per electricity casting on some boss gingo. I didn't ask how often it hit. I just know that every time it hit, it was over 1k hp.

Alright, a few things. I'm seriously getting tired of seeing your name attached to a constant stream of aggressive negativity, not only toward the game, but toward everyone who happens to want to contribute in any way. Just a tip: not everyone who enjoys the game or disagrees with you is a fanboy.

You're upset about things, and I understand that, but you've stated and re-stated your point ad absurdum in numerous threads, many of which you derailed by posting said point. When one person single handedly damages the discourse on a message board, I take issue, and so should you.

Your antics are coming dangerously close to what I'd classify as trolling, and I want it stopped. Now.
