Heres a little thread that is always fun and will act as a little guide to new and old players alike:

Shift+K = marco system (Yes this game has a really really great action combination system)
K = Key List
Q = is the default key for stop my current action NOW!
Insert = sit/stand
Delete = walk/run

You can activate actions from the HANDS BAR using number 1-0 and shift+1-0 (bottom row)
Ctrl+# changes Hands bar.

Right clicking on that text menu allows you to toggle between Text and Icons.

Right clicking top left corner of chat or inv ( :P ) allows you to filter messages

Sys info can be combined with you chat window

Chat windows and inventory windows can be split by right clicking the tab you want to split.

Double clicking a green source uses the first 'extraction' stanzia on your hands bar! it starts lookin at hands bar 1 action 1 and moves through all bars till it finds one. (this does not work for fight, which is a shame :o )

If you can't see the person you want to follow and you are in a team. Select there name in the team list, then right click on yourself and select follow (if they are with in range you will run to them)

emotes can be typed into the chat box eg /bow = bow, the word is the same as the last one you would select using the right-click menu.

using an emote with nobody selected does it to everyone!

/wave - calls for a Mexican Wave :P love this one!

You can split you equip window away from you inventory and leave it on screen at all times .... great for fast armour switching.

Select a mob and right click compass.... select target 'mob-nam', you can now see you distance from the mob .... great for checking aggro ranges!

If you go though a portal and enter auto run or spin mode - tap once the key corresponding to the direction you are moving.... you will stop moving.

Safe zones around portals/teleports/spawns are only safe when you enter them by porting/teleporting/die not by running to them! You can move around in a safe zone, but if you leave it or attack something you are now aggro bait!

you can't combine invunerablity with speed run, but you can use one after the other, when the first one runs out!

Parry and dodge are toggled by the text/icon menu. Parry key driver is your weapon, dodge is base on you armour. However all equipment and you level effect both!

Towns are level and fame activated (tasks) if you don't see mission its because you are not high enough in one of the other.

The equipment sold at the NPC is a good guide to the town's level.

Care planning for someone you are not in a team with gets you no XP and you don't get the insta regen of focus :P but they will love you for it just the same.

Send 2 tells to someone to make the popup box appear.... sometimes they miss the message if it just appears on chat window :D

TAB cycles though people you have sent tells to!

To exit the 'in window' tell system 'name>' select a different chat method eg around.

Well there is probable a 1000 more I could add but I just wanted to get you started!

The question is how many others are there :P

Remember this one little thing ....

No one in game knows everything.
No one in game was told how stuff works (this includes the beta testers)

In fact we are rarely told anything.

Everything we know is based on learning, and sharing. (In game help text is actually work reading, but usually only gives the bare bones).

So even if you only post one line 'I know that this does this' on this thread .... You maybe the only one who has ever tried it!

To enter water if you are in a fight - don't forget to disengage - F6 or right click self select disengage - otherwise you stop at the waters edge!

True, but as a matter of fact i like it. It gives me chance to discover myself how some things works in ryzom. Also its more challenging and gives a lot of fun. But its only my opinion.

CTRL+S stops current action.

when you are harvesting and source explosion is close you can sit down or stop current action. (it saved my life many times).

when you cannot sell more items to merchant npc just uncheck "Enable Resale".

Ill post something more when i go back to home and logon to ryzom, i have very short memory :P

In away the things on this thread should not be spoilers...

EG mob xyz is non-aggro, even though its got big teeth!!!

or you can pull 200 mats if you do this action followed by this!

(the teeth one is real the 200 mats one is to make a point :P )

but should be the little things that make the difference between frustation and enjoyment.

*** like don't buy another race medium look plan without first buying the crafting skill and the basic plan :P

you don't get DP if someone heal you!

Spells + an amp > Spells with no amp.

Sometimes some of you wrote "select someone and then right click on yourself and do this"... afaik, you don't have to right click on yourself, you can do it anywhere. ie, to follow someone, you select that someone, then right click anywhere on the screen that isnt a window (but I wouldn't do it over someone else just to be sure) then select follow from the list and you will follow the person targeted.

Tell me this, is there a way to move something from 'hands bar 1' to 'hands bar 2'? Normal actions I can just pick from the action list, but customised actions obviously dont appear there, it would be nice if there was say a 'right click -> Move to -> 1,2,3,4,5,6' set of options for the actions, anyone know if there's something similar I could use?

nope sorry - its something we all really want!

however you can drag default actions form the Skill progression window on to the hands bar - and then you can edit to taste :p maybe a bit quicker than starting an action scratch or re-adding a action you have accidently deleted.

Its the ONLY way to add 'use item' back to you hands bar!

Does anyone know of a way to zoom the third person view WITHOUT using the mousewheel??
