I've got some friends who might be interested in trying out the game but, while they like the sound of item decaying, they are frankly worried about money doing the same (it says in the manual that even money decays).

So I was wondering if any of you who have been in beta for a while or have kept up with those details could give me a bit more information on item decay in the game.

Do you know whether items (weapons, gear) in general decay even when not used? Can items be repaired or do they simply have to be replaced when they reach the end of their duration?

What about money? If I have a stockpile of money, how quickly will it decay away? What if I cancel my account for 2 months and come back? Will it have kept decaying during my period of inactivity?

I'm trying to get a good grip of all aspects of this feature so I can give informed answers. So any bit of information would be welcome.

Don't recall ever seeing money decay to be honest.

As for weapons and equipment, as far as I can tell they only wear out when you use them, but I personally find I need to get higher level kit long before what I have wears out.

Wearing of items is based on quality of items too so one item made of good quality matrials will survive several players .

I have my pike that i got some 30 lv and i really need a new one ahmm old one lost some only 10 hits from 180

As for money decading never have this problem

As said before - never seen my money decay.

Item decay is dependant on use, if you get hit a lot your armor HP diminish, if you are not it stays at full HP. It is not possible to repair anything.

But (as said before, too) you usually are in need of new, better equipment anyway by the time our old one starts to wear out. Item decay is one of the few things of the game which are balanced quite ncely.

I'm 100% warior and i have about 300k money at lvl 36, i know some crafter able to craft the stuff i need, so there are no problems i think
The stuff i by today, i'll sell it tomorow for one better, and if everybody do that, in 1 month or two, it will be easy to find any ql stuff for a good price. I'm not realy woried about money/stuff and tell ure friends they can come
