Hi, I just started with the free trial and made a Zorai mage type sexy mask guy.

Its kinda confusing at first but I think im starting to get how things work, but there is one thing that bugs me. I cant heal myself 0.o

Ive read many websites and cant find an answer. I have the Heal 1 spell. However, I cant seem to be able to target myself by clicking. Any way I can do that? The in game Help for spell is bugged and didnt help me much.

I have seen there is a Self Heal version somewhere, do I have to have that version to heal myself? If so how to get it?

Thanks for help!

You're right you need the Self Heal spell. You have to get that from a trainer when you get some skill points. Keep plugging away and try to team up with anyone you can.

Best description of a Zorai I've heard. Ever.

and by the way, I'd reccomend taking up fighting and using the fight SP to buy self heal, so that you can spend your magic SP on more important (namley spells) things.

You can also use your fight points to buy more hit points, saving your magic points for spells or sap points.

yes, I agree, level melee if for NOTHING else than HP and regen. You will NEED all the magic SP you can muster, and it is WAY too precious to waste on such frivolities.

Ok heres a update I got self heal, and now im lvl 8 fight and lvl 10 magic (Yeah i kinda mixed it up a little)

Wich brings me to the next question! Is it ok if i keep lvling both fight and magic? Is that gonna cripple me later on? I read you can change profession or something like that, but then you would slowly lose your old skills.

Anyways the whole thing is unclear to me, what do they mean by "profession", what are titles for like "apprentice magician", and how exactly should I go about raising my skills. A clear explanation would help me a lot!

Thanks again for the help!

There are no professions, and you won't lose skills. It was probably just an expression. I call myself a 'healer', even though I'm almost as high in fight, and decent at harvesting, etc. You can be whatever level in whatever skills you want :)

The only disadvantage to following multiple skill paths is the fact that it takes more time, which isn't even a disadvantage if you're not in a hurry to get anywhere. If you notice on your action progression window ("a" key), each box has "+" next to it. Clicking that expands the box into the next set of skills." You can progress up those trees and gain skill points from each which can be spent on anything that sprouted from the base tree. For example, let's say you made it to 35 in melee fight and 30 in ranged fight. All of those skill points can be used for anything in any of the fight trees. The higher you go, the more branches to trees there will be. The more branches you follow, the more skill points you'll get.

Titles so far are based entirely on your level. You get Warrior Apprentice at 20 (21?) melee fight, Armorer Apprentice at 50 (51?) armor crafting. I don't know for a fact, but I'd assume the upcoming encyclopedia will add more possible titles for achieving different things.

Level anything you feel like. If you enjoy doing it, it can only help you. Being able to both do mage things and fighting gives you more options when you are in a group. More roles you can fill. Later on, you have to make more choices in what you level and what areas you are interested in, but your character will never be crippled.

Titles are for you to display to the world. If you think of yourself more as a mage, then pick an appropriate title. They are for show to others, for roleplay purposes only.

Raise both fight and magic to level 20. Get a feel for what you enjoy doing. After level 20, the trees have their first split. You can level all the skills you want, but fight and magic break down into 2 trees each!

Alright Im not sure what I read initially but it was confusing! So basically I could get every skill in the game eventually? Or is there enough skill point for that?

Well im now lvl 11 fight and lvl 20 magic :D And Aprentice Magician. I can 1 hit the first mob now lol. I started adventuring farther and killed a mob for 1300 xp! Kinda dangerous tough..

I also started toying with making new spells a bit, but at this point there seem to be very little change I can make to them. I did do a more powerful "finisher" spell with close range for when my Acid 2 doesnt 1 hit the mob or get resisted.

Oh one last question! For a little bit now, when I cast my best spell, it says my magic amplifier doesnt work. I looked at the shops and cant find even the category of this kind of equipment, only wands. Is there something better I can buy at this point that help with my stronger spells?

Thanks again!
