anyone elso notice the lack of items between 50 and 120?

Yup is same way for the mantis. It seems that right now there is a lull in the ammount of players needing items within that range.

Have you tried Hoi-Cho? That's where I tend to find the q50-100 mats. Perhaps your NPC is there.
