Rapidly Losing Interest in the Game

Nothing new in my post, but Im getting really tired of not being able to get more than a few steps out of town without being quickly killed by wandering gingos. I have a second month free (having lured a friend into buying the game), but unless this is changed soon Ill probably just cancel before dipping into month 2. Im not a power gamer, dont have a lot of time to play at any one time, but I like to put in some time every night. Spending the majority of my time working off a death penalty is not fun. Losing interest in my characters and the game in general.

Have you tried leaving from a different side of town? Not all regions are designed the same, but from what you are saying, I am guessing you are probably from Yrkanis, which outside of town along the path, are a number of gingo/ragus. Leaving from the south end of town has gotten me much better results.

Im sure there are people that can help. I would like to but, your not giving up alot of information. So let me ask you.

What level are you? Where are you? What are you wearing? What are you doing? Are you a fighter, crafter, caster, healer, crafter or a little of every thing? A little of every thing is best especialy if you want get rid of dp because you can craft or forage dp off fairly quickly. I was going to go farther but , it's better if you let us know what and who you are. That way youll get some real help. :)

i don't think he's actually looking for help, it sounds to me like he just want's to let nevvy know he's not happy with them. :(

Im located in Imperial Dunes. Treking out to the south, there is a stable and lots of beginner monsters, but it doesnt take much, going west or east, to run into a wandering baying gingo or a pack of scowlers.

My character is in the 21-25 lvl range in fighter. It just takes 2-3 bites max and Im down.

ok, i know the area a bit, you might wanna start out from the east stable(main entrance) and move east from there, vulgar izams and yubos upto timorous should be good prey for you
i could also give you more detailed instructions for reaching other places in fyros, if leveling is not your problem

SO it is not just me, in this flood of people saying 'harder is better yes shaft us more with bigger monsters!' and munchkins saying 'get q70 armors with +35 hitpoints every piece, I can do that I am rich and in a powerful guild' I was almost thinking that I was alone in my plight.

Well theres the problem your too young. At that level in just melee you should still be on the island. Not too worry, I did the same thing myself. This is what you can do.

1. Start over whith new char. ( you can keep your name if you delete your old chr. and start a new one right away) and dont leave the island till at least level 30 in at least 3 yes 3 skills best are melee, magic, forage.

2. Dont start over keep playing but, get help from other players with the team option. You will need at least a healer not another fighter. Wont be hard to find my char is 94 melee but only 34 healer. Just ask for some help to level your char. Do not ask if any body wants to group with you. People are more willing to help but, may not want to group with your level. If you ask for help while Im playing I will do it (need help leveling my heal :) )

3. Join a guild. This might be hard at your level but, not impossible. Then follow instructions in (2). Now, why in the world would you want to join a guild. Im glad you asked. You see, when your in a guild your guild mates want you too do well and will try to help you when ever they can. This is not allways the case when you are alone.

Over all just remember this. Its better to ask for help when your playing. I think youll find some nice surprizes waiting for you if you do. :)
