Plethora of frustrations

Ryzom will not load. Gets all the way through then "Install interupted"

Account info said "cancelling" at the bottom of my payment secton

Preorder code generates "invalid" message and prevents registration

Attempted to fix the registration issues by unsubcribing and starting over. No Joy, Can not find a way past the "unsubcribed" page.

Can not do any meaningful adjustments via the account profile page.

NO TECH SUPPORT EMAIL LISTED in the official website's support section...That is completely unsat.

Need answers.

Addendum and update:

Can not resubscribe. Can not subscribe under another name. Can not access my account info in any meaningful way to correct any issue at all.


This is completely FUBAR.

Program still will not finish install. Nothing so far is good, functional, working or doable.

Sounds like a firewall blocking something out. Or a cookie for the webpage not getting saved. I would check both.

To the "Install interrupted" i've been getting that on some installers every since I installed service pack 2 for windows XP.
Up untill I got Ryzom the only installers that have had this issue have been demo or beta programs so I let it slide.

Uninstalling service pack 2 fixed this issue for me, I'll have to to a fresh install to get sp2 working properly at some point in the future.

If you don't have XP with SP2 then ignore this :)

(remember uninstalling sp2 is at you own risk, just covering myself case anything goes wrong :) )

The fact your in here shows for now your account is good... the installation issues could be any number of things, none of us can see your setup. Either your system is not connecting to patch at the appropriate time or maybe system resources are running out at the same point... impossible to tell.
