You can use an ATM debit card with a Visa logo on it. Virtually every bank on the face of the planet has these and gives them out with a normal checking account.

There's a big difference between those who are rich and those who have useable credit cards for Ryzom.
What this game ISN'T for is fraudsters, hence the part where you have to put in your details so that they can validate you are who you say you are.

and f.y.i i bought the game on the 5th of octobre. so ive owned the game for a month but havent been able to play it. i was in the open beta tough
That is very odd. I used my check card with now problem at all.
Maybe you misstyped the number, or entered the wrong experation date,I do that alot. I had to type in the cd mopre than a few times to get it right. hehe
Did you type in the verification number on the back of your CC?
If none of those are the problem try contacting custumer support.
