ARGH!!!!
Having serious issues w/ the PC. Every time I try to log onto SoR, the montior blacks out and the pc doesn't respond. It will black out as soon as I turn the game on, or it will black out once I actually get into a full screen application. To date I've tried tried reloading dx9.0, dx9.0c, reinstalling drivers, changing hertz rate on monitor, reinstalling the game to see if it was a software error even bought a new video card, as the one I had was overheating, all to no avail. Suggestions?
Currently using an Athalon XP 2500 (1.8 Ghz processor)
Asus Motherboard w/ Nforce2 chipset, updated drivers
1.5 Gigs of DDR
Old video card *which is overheating* Nvidia Geforce FX 5600 Ultra
New Video Card : Geforce FX 5700 LE Optima, also w/ updated drivers from Nvidia
Monitor Samsung SyncMaster 955 DF
Microsoft XF Pro, SP 1 Installed
Screen blacks out
