Hello, I would just like to encourage everyone to flip on your region chat every now and then so that those who are new to the game can get the help they need.

Granted that they will be in the starter islands for the first couple of days, they will be making their way to the mainlands shortly after. Try to lend a hand to our fellow new-comers so that they can have a more enjoyable gaming experience.

Show them how good of a community we have. :D

Thanks,
Stellus

Agreed! Newcomers are our future! We need their numbers as much as they will need our help, so, let's all do what we can to make them feel welcome and answer as many questions as we can.

not to sound mean but at the current state of the game is alot of us cannot even help themselves and gets slaughtered constantly accumulating just more DP.

help a newbie would prove... impossible to say at least.

This may pertain more to answering questions that new players may have about the game. I know a lot of times we mute our Region Chat and there already is a lot of questions unanswered because of this possibility.

in that case..... I suggest instead of helping newbies answering question is that you pray people to.... try to fake smile to them... right now if a newbie enters and listens to a regional chat.. quits playing in five minutes.

the game is broken still.

Tried a new character. Started as crafter, made swords and daggers.

Managed to get to level 7 fight no problem, no deaths. Just need to progress up slowly and sensibly really.

So providing they soak up the xp from things until they arnt worthwhile, then go up the next ladder on the xp thing, they will be fine i reckon.

I started a trkyer Friday, I am at magic 17, fight 12, no crafting no harvesting. I have died a few times cause I have miscalculated.

I think I got aggro once from the ghoari, but otherwise no problems.....

I also have a lvl 70 zora and although the fighting is harder and we must not overreach to the higher lvl mobs that could be killed easier before patch one. I am not finding this game unplayable.........it is just that it is going to take longer to achieve what was achieveable before the patch. No mystery there I would say.....

So newbies, take everything with a grain of salt and make your own judgements........................

I've started as a firos.... gave up after accumulating several thousands of death penality from yubos and other suckling creature deaths.
do not attempt to do delivery missions.. they send you to other towns, gingos in between.
