Bug with appearance

I have a bug which can be considered funny but can turn nasty at times. Appearance of my char is changing erratically, consisting of "real" char appearance and a piece of furniture, mob or even other npc/char stuck in the middle. Besides, there can be spell effects on the character. It changes after picking other eq, or respawn or entering other area/town.

Most usual is virtual yubo stuck between feet or lesser imaz (prob mispelt, red flying gnat) stuck in brest. Nothing terrible while they are sleeping, becomes annoying when it starts clapping wings. Nastiest example was someone's char with a stuck mob, this other char animates harvesting or fighting during my "real" activity, have to check icons on what is going on.

Funniest were the char with piece of wooden fence stuck between legs, when running it looks like mount a toy horse :P And once char appearance changed to sexiest girl (wonder who could managed to made a char with such attractive bum :0.. when she moves backward.. ok, back to subj :P ).

Well, I sent some funny pics to gms (hehe, the shots can be used for blackmailing Nevrax), we tried to resolve that, nothing helped.

What I did: reinstalled Direct, removed and reinstalled driver (latest Nvidia 6.1.77), turned off textures compresiion, played with all graphics configs in-game, all but with no result. Card is MSI GeForce 6800 GT, 256, XP SP2 running. I would not like to reinstall game, considering patch files are not saved for reuse, and that means rather long download (ADSL 256). Btw this is a dun to devs why the hell files cannot be optinally saved like in AO?

Any advise from techie specs?

Thank you,

Sounds as if you need to check what graphics setting you are using, my advice would be to switch to OpenGL because you are running an Nvidia card, if that doesnt help you could try a complete re-install of ryzom. :)

Kghm, one of the first thing gm advised was switching to force d3d (it was auto). Strange, but I didnt hit it to switchforce opengl, will certainly try it in the evening. Thanks for the idea, bullough.
