IDEA please read.

ok we are ALL having problems with the aggro monsters, expecially with them, now, I will put aside all my anger for the situation and give the perfect temporary solution until this crap is fixed:

MASK SCENT

in few words.. a stanza.. that continuously remains on you, that masks your scent not letting aggro monsters attack you. they will just ignore you like your not there. the power is interrupted only by

1) if you attack or cast offensive magic of any kind to ANY monster (yes you attack herbivores.. feel the wrath of the carnivores)

2) if the kami tolerance reaches zero when harvesting.

Lovely!

As a level 40 character that would mean I could explore this planet on my own without getting trounced 1km out of the gates. That sounds more fun than hovering around Pyros all day, team or no.

Yup, some sort of sneaky skill sure is currently missing. A mask scent would indeed be useful. Though, the effect should increase with better stanzas; i.e. remain undetected from bigger mobs, the effect lasting longer and such.

this wasn't a suggestion for the future this is a suggestion to patch up the current horrible situation. For the future yes it can be nice something to progress with time and such.. maybe for wizards (to make them a little less useless.)

Nice idea, but it will make interatys travel far too easy. Severely doubt they will even think about it twice :(

It is a nice idea, but I don't think it can be implemeted as a quick fix. Second, not all creature use scent to detect pray. To do this in a good way Nevrax will need to plan and carefully build this.

for the quick fix I have proposed that because on the programming side it's very easy to implement.. why gingos doesn't attack other gingos? easy because they have a little instance that says predators. it's awfully easy to make the same instance about hte object player.

Hell they didn't programmed ryzom in basic did they?

as for implementation yes... future implementation needs some thought, my idea is just temporary to avoid the current disaster...

for serious game implementation I would have probably bothered you with a 500 lines post that has no place here I am not developing the game I am trying to give a suggestion to save temporarily the situation.

ooh how about they Implement mektoubs with wings so we can fly over the mobs???? PFFT
