When I start Ryzom and it is loading I get this error:

Please help

Open up your Ryzom directory and activate the ryzom_recovery file. Worked for me after the patch when I had exactly the same problem as you.

One thing I should point out was that the first time i started the game it was fullscreen but greatly 'zoomed in'. Relogging and setting the res and other effects in the config tool sorted that out.

I suppose the easy way would be to first open (Double click) 'My computer' and then do the same with the drive you installed Ryzom on (You find all your drives in 'My computer').
You'll find your folders inside the drives, if you remember where you installed Ryzom you shouldn't have any problems finding its folder, otherwise you will just have to look around a bit.

Looking at the crash log and reading through it, it appears that the keyboard configuration file for your character has gotten corrupted. This file stores key assignments. Go to your Ryzom folder, in there go to the "save" folder and delete the following file:
keys_henhouse.xml

Unfortunately this will cause you to loose all key assignments you have made, it will be reset to the default configuration next time you log on. You will NOT loose any other configuration information, such as window placement, or your edited actions.

Are you playing on Trycker?

If you do then try downloading latest video drivers, if it doesnt help turn the sound off. Helps for some people, personally i had to reroll on matis becase i couldn't do anything about it
