24 hours and no response?

Its been over 24 hours now and not a single peep from any of the developers about what, if anything, they intend to do to fix the current fiasco on the live servers. There are dozens of threads and a huge petition signed by over 200 people... still nothing.

Are they home for the weekend? I don't know how it is over there in France, but I work in sillicon valley and let me tell you guys, if my company had a situtation like this where the majority of our customers were pissed off, I'd be working non-stop to get things fixed. One time I worked 28 days in a row (12-16 hour days) to keep a major client's business.

Well, we are the *entirety* of Nevrax's business right now and I would like to see them start giving a **** about what we think. The people at the Themis group who run CSR are fine folks, but there comes a time when the people who actually own and develop the product need to step up and directly interact with their customers. That time is most *definately* now.

We need to hear one of two things:

1) Combat is working as intendend and will not recieve any more changes.

or

2) We are sorry, we made a mistake and will be returning combat to how it was before Patch 1 and will further evaluate the situation on the test server.

Right now as it stands, I have no way to make a rational decision about if I should continue to give Nevrax any of my money. If they respond with option #1, I will part ways with them and move on. If they respond with option #2 I will stay and give them my cash. It's that simple.

This utter silence from the developers is a total load and they need to step up and explain themselves.

From the petition thread:
I hear you loud and clear and will forward this along to the proper people. Thank you for keeping it adult.

Thats great and all but Cerest works for Themis, and is not a Nevrax developer. My post is basically asking someone at Nevrax to either say the way combat is right now is intentional or that it is a mistake.

If its intentional, then this isn't the game for me and I can part ways with them. If its a mistake, I can wait around to see if the game is more to my liking.

The CSR's that work for Themis are nice people, but they do not know the reasons why the developers do anything. After having many conversations when them I have come to the conclusion that they are kept mostly in the dark about what direction the game is taking as well as what will be in upcomming patches, atleast until very close to the patch release date.

Frankly Nevrax has poor communication with its own subcontracted help desk, and even worse communication with its customers. This in my opinion, is not the hallmark of a great company. They should re-evaluate their decisions in this area since I believe its costing them customers that they would otherwise not lose.

relax, probably they are swatting their butts off... you know they have 24 hours or so to fix everything back as it was... world of warcraft gets open beta on monday. and ryzom as the way it is. will die.

it is true that they created the mass migration system... tho I doubt they thought that worked on players too.

I know a few French people, and, from how they describe it, the labor laws are very strict over there. The way I understand it, they can't force their employees to work overtime. They even tried a 32 hour work week for a while, and they have a government mandated 1 year of paid maternity leave.

I also wanted to comment on the difference between a customer and a client. It's a difference of $14.95 vs. hundreds of thousands of dollars (that number can, of course, vary, but you did say major client).

Starting a poll is simple, but I'm not going to tell you how.

Relax amitst, your blood pressure must be off the clock. This is just a game, and not worth the aggro. One way or another, a bit of patience will solve things. eschiava's comments are every bit as important as anyone else's, and he/she deserves the same respect we expect from him/her.
