Well, i canceled my account yesterday after patch 1. Was certain that this changes were intended and wouldnt be fixed. Was happy again when i saw the statement of the extra patch last day.

So i gave it another try on newbie island last night for about 6 hours or so. The fixes imo are not that much worthwidy. Mobs still hit for crazy dmg and fights are over in about 5-10 seconds, usually with the player laying dead on the ground after the fight. I was at lvl 30 melee/30 magic/20 craft and was trying to solo a weeny kipee. i have 450 hp and it hits for around 100 each time, with a +200 heal in the middle its still 75% that i die if i dont get very lucky and dodge/parry a few times, if i should miss a few times i am most certanly dead.

I dont understand the ones saying that its all about skill now and more challenging, bullsh**. Since the fights are so fast all you can really do is load up your best attack and hope for the best, no time to fool around trying different approaches since the fight is over in a few secs.

But, it was a minor step back but nearly not enough imo, still to much death and frustration. Not to mention if you get an add on you your certanly dead. Crafting still messed up, will get you broke in a few levels if you try to level that. Magic still way to much resists on 50xp giving critters.

But the thing that annoys me the most is the fact that this game is not a beta, i paid for a product that has been realesed and is alas finished. I know mmo's are constantly changing and that is all good and needed but you cant change the gameplay like this patch did, thats not a little extra content or fixes or addons, that is changing it to a completely different game making gameplay a totally different experience than what you had when u bought it.

Also sad when it seemed to please so many before the patch, no negative threads to be found anywere on the forums.

But, as others have said i dont want to go away with a rant, i had a blast for a few weeks and really really think the devs had made a great and fun game, i really hope they can keep their game alive and bubbling, they certanly deserve that. Met a few really nice ppl ig, wish you all the best.

I do sincerely hope there is the patch to fix monsters today... or tomorrow I will be gone.

well i decided to start a new character also last night. I started a nice tryker character and thought i'd level my fight up first of all......so i thought lets start with a nice easy sucking yubo...easiest thing to kill on the entire island. I take a 1/4 of its hp and it takes all my hp...okkkk. I had to harvest until i could increase my hp too around 200 and i could just about take a sucking yubo. Then i grouped with 3 other people around lvl 10 and we went to kill a yber, killed all 4 of us with its massive lvl of 16 against our combined lvl around 50.....for sure. Got a bit of money, around 15k and thought ah i can lvl up a few times in crafting with that.....went to the shop and looked at the prices for q10 mats......errrrrrrrrr 500+ for one mat. So basically if you start over....its impossible to solo fighting or magic, crafting is v.hard to lvl up. I canceled my subscription shortly after i had a go with a new character, after i realised were being forced to team up to actually level, which imo is just wrong. I enjoyed the game before the patch even thought there was a lack of content, but to me now, the game is just not enjoyable enough to spend time playing/paying money for. thanks for the couple of months of fun, i really enjoyed it.

I have experimented about an animal - very much it was not pleasant that they have made.
To life at an animal began is well a little, are killed in 3-4 impacts instead of 50 .
That is very bad - all fight began simply on success, absolutely depends nothing on you. If an animal which brings 500 XP, has got all impacts, and you have missed the mark 2 or more - you a corpse. If you have got all impacts, and an animal have missed the mark a couple (you dodge, an animal miss, etc.) - you have killed him.
Earlier though fight was long, but as a whole depend on your level and submitted to statistics - that is if to beat correct an animal you him destroy 100 % as all miss and dodge were on the big interval of time and as a whole corresponded{met} to your level and miss to a rating.
Now fight only on success - from you depends nothing, fight lasts half-minutes a maximum, everyone miss the enemy or yours turn an outcome of fight.

It is delirium. I think, at the current status at an animal should be lives on percent 30-50 more, and to beat they should in 3-4 times is weaker - then fight will be shorter, but nevertheless within the framework of your account LVL and skuils.
