I made a new character with Fight, Magic and Forage.
I could not kill a Suckling yubo with the dagger i got, not could i kill one with the acid spell.

This is utter ridicoulous. How are new players expected to get into the game.
I even tried a 3 magic pack character and still could not kill a Suckling yubo. The resist is crazy.

This needs to change quickly!!!!!

Erm - I did exactly the same thing and had no problems whatever.............

Same, tried it on ATS, killed it without any problems died in 2 charges of acid 1 with the starter magic amplifier . Tried with dagger to, accurate attack 1, died in 5 hits .

I also could not kill a suckling Yubo, with dagger or acid spell. I couldn't even come close to killing one. Did you start as a Tryker by chance? Maybe, if you did, it's only in the Tryker island.

i cannot kill one either, i think this is appaling and had an hour long chat with the devs last night bit annoying as a new zorai is my only character

The character i made was a Fyro.
After dieing 5 time in a row i gave up. I ran from the fight a few times and actually saw one suckling yubo resist the guard's spell a few times before it got killed.

I did manage to kill one as a 3 pack melee character duel wielding sword + dagger using acurate attack. I think i have 7 hp left after the fight and had to sit down for a while.

It looks like the only viable profession now is Harvesting.

Weird - I got Tinkywinky the Tryker to 3rd or 4th level without problems.

if a yubo resists guards spells then they must be tough, not good for new players who have just joined the game Nevrax maybe you should take this into account!

I have a Fyros character that I made a couple of days ago. He is 16 fight, 8 craft, 17 harvest and around 9 or 10 magic. He has 300 hp. Before the last patch, he could kill a suckling yubo with 3 or 4 casts of acid 1, while losing maybe 30 hp. After the patch, the same yobu kills him if I try chain casting acid 1 or 2 at it.

i made a matis char and i was able to kill yubos!.. rest 5 min after each but i could kill!
