Well its time to cast your consumer vote on patch 1.

I vote not to give Ryzom anymore of my money. I might re open my acct if they wake up and fix this debaucle they all a patch.

If you dont like this patch, cancel your acct until they listen... or wait 2 more weeks for WoW.

180 desert harvest, 180 2h pke, 130 2hslahs, 50 magic

Congrats devs u have completed the WORST patch i have ever seen on an MMO. I have never seen such complete disregard to players wants and needs.

YOu get 1 more shot at the fix-it patch otherwise you will see a mass exodus to WoW and Eq2.

Unbelievable how badly this patch went....UNBELIEVABLE.

I have unsubscribed 5 mins ago - level 185 forage - getting 10 to 40 exp for what gave me 1500 or so before patch - just not funny :)
Altho now I have unsubscribed I feel somehow happy.

Although I'm not leaving, I'm very sad to see a lot of people go. A lot of people who have been die-hard enthusiasts about this game from long ago in beta as well.

Seems that every MMO makes the mistake of not using their test server properly after they go live. I hope Nevrax learns quickly from the mistakes made, and can't honestly acknowledge the mistakes that were made.

I encourage all of you to unsuscribe. You can still play until your mebership runs out, and if it changes before then you can resuscribe with no loss to your account.

The response to this patch (mine included) reminds me of an episode of the Simpsons, when Marge complains to the producers of Itchy and Scratchy, and they make drastic changes to the show.

The kids finish watching the show, realizing how much less appealing it was, and go outside to play instead. *

For me though, I chose to play Ryzom because I had already finished "watching the show" (playing other MMOGs). Now Ryzom has become less fun, at least for me. Dunno what to do now. Maybe really go outside. :)

* By the end they changed the show back, retaining their entire audience. There are differences here, between the show and the game -- people aren't paying for TV (at least, not the specific shows), people are paying for the game. It's harder to get people to resubscribe than to get them to just change the channel and try something again.

Don't do it! I've heard horror stories of the Day Star...

Are people this fickle that after a couple of hours of the patch being implemented they are running away without even giving it a chance? I do believe there is a post with a couple of tweaks to the harvesting in addition to this patch and I'll bet that more stuff can be tweaked after that if this patch doesn't fully "fix" the problems.

I guess I am just a bit more patient than some who are going to immediately leave at the first sign of something that appears to be an issue. From all that I have read so far I personnally do not see the problem, although I am not a high level harvestor only level 49 atm. I do believe Nevrax has made the changes for a good reason and believe they have made a good faith effort to listen to the replies of the players and make changes as neccessary to the game. I do see that the changes that were made were not exactly what most of the posts were complaining about and Nevrax added more than I thought they would to this patch.

Of course thats just my opinion, I could be wrong
