Timing on harvesting fixes?

Cerest,

It's good to hear that Nevrax is planning on addressing the problems they introduced in patch 1. My question is, when can we expect these fixes. You said, "in the next patch". I certainly hope this doesn't mean we have to wait a month or more until patch 2 to see the changes. I hope "next patch" refers to a small patch that will be coming out sooner.

I'm one of those that will probably stick to it and ride out the problems, however, I'm quite concerned about what this patch will do to the playerbase unless it's fixed quite soon.

Ok .. this does not make me happy ...

They knew it was broken in the patch... they would not admit that till after the patch and now they are saying they will fix it (without an ETA) ??

Yah .. umm .. thanks .. this has damaged my opinion of nevrax more than the patch itself has.

This is referring to a minipatch that goes live on ATS after Patch 1 and will be going live on servers soon after that probably.

Because the high level characters were not copied until this weekend, I don't think Nevrax was fully aware of how much the changes were going to badly effect foraging.

Regardless, changes are coming. That's a good thing.

fact is .. they knew about it before pushing the patch .. they ignored the players who posted about it. They pushed it in the game and now after this they say they will fix it without giving an ETA.

Do they plan on making the players wait 2 weeks before they fix it ?

I'll not disagree with this, but if they were able to realize it at least by today they should have pulled it from today's patch.

Sure you and me might wait it out, but plenty of people aren't. Why make people upset when they KNEW it was going to happen and could have avoided it?

I remain a die-hard fan of Ryzom, but Nevrax has lost a lot of my own respect with this patch as well. What is to say this type of behavior won't be common place with patches in the future as well? nevrax really should speak up while the relationship with many customers can be repaired.
