It's a bit more inline with how it should be now.
Mobs were just to easy and took to long to kill before. Now at least I have to use my brain and I can kill a mob faster than before and it seems to be more inline with any other mmorpg that I have played. Sure adjustments will be made that guaranteed but no point throwing a wobbly when something doesn't seem to go your way. :p

Shazzy can you please tell me how it should be? And how do you use your brain to defeat mobs? I tried to defeat a growling clopper at level45 melee, i barely managed had 50 hp out of 830 left and it gave me 500exp. After that i had to sit and recover for 2mins. Also when I get 2 vigourous Goaris on me they kick the s**t out of me... Am i missing something? I would really love to use some of your grey matter :D

Oh and btw, when using magic the same mobs (growling cloppers) are too easy. They die in 3 spells and never get close to me :D

hehe well I tend to stick to birds and furries at the moment cos I'm only little in melee but yes they are easy to magic with the new concentration. :)

Still no comments on brain usage, come on Shazzy enlighten me please :D I'll prolly switch to yubos and Mektoubs as well.... Killing cattle is legal in Ryzom, isn't it? :D

Skill and brain usage has nothing to do with fighting in Ryzom... at the moment it's luck based:

- you're lucky if the mob doesnt hit you for max damage
- you're lucky if you don't have an add
- you're lucky if you don't get a resist

If you're not lucky you're dead... look at the DP amount, and the XP gain from killing one of those mobs; that growling clopper at 500xp for example... they're not worth the risk anymore, nothing is worth fighting for the xp vs dp ratio
