Have only played the game for a week in wait for Eq2 but last night i was so overwhelmed by the game that i decided to stick with Ryzom instead, well that was until todays patch.

Ohh my did the mess up a nice game, atleast from a newbie point of view.

I have my third character at the beginning island and worked him up to lvl 30 in melee/crafting. Today after the patch i cant hardly kill a weeny gingo without having to rest for 10 min!!!! Thanks, canceling tonight

lol, ofcourse i did buy back it all and i did overdo it a little, can still kill a gingo but with top armor and weapons for that lvl its just not fun to kill something for 100xp and rest for 10 min

Before the patch the beginner island at lvl 30 was a nice warmup run with no problems, maybe to easy but this is just ridiculos. Talked to a few mages who said they got it a lot easier doinf more dmg than before, thats not the case for melees atleast.

yea it seems they have tried to encourage teaming, but as ive said in several other threads increasing mob dmg to the point where melee barely cant solo at all is not the way to make people team (force)

The problem with noob island is that is way to easy to level and you get more xp for doing the same stuff there than you would in your relevant land.

icey are you retarded, level 30 mobs are running aroun raping people of EVERY levels. im a level 110 melee and i cant find anythign to kill that even gives me 1 exp
