Sadly, the number of Unregistered post could be made just by 10 hardcore fans farming till their box arrives. Don't get me wrong, I love the game (at least in beta). Anyway, I am just too bored ... after countless disappointed trips to my local PC store......

You do sound frustrated with us.

It was decided (and I personally strongly supported) making the support and game forums private for the players.

The forums should be a place where players can receive help, tips, information and basically since they are playing the game, they deserve the large share of our support.

It was never our intention to shut out the public. I created this guest area so players like yourself could come here and air your opinions.

We do read this Guest forum & as you can see, we also respond.

However -- my CMs are responsible for their live communities. If a screaming match or a 'troll' thread pops up here, they should always focus on supporting the playing communities first! If the player communituies are busy, sometimes I step up to the front here and address (as best I can) the issues.

Since we saw the biggest screams and umm... (how do I phrase this?) mess (thats a nice politic word) was made by people who weren't even in the beta, we decided to make sure the players could get help without wading through non player grief posts.

We aren't hiding negative posts. Players have actually cut and pasted threads into this open forum.

This Guest forum has had posts removed for foul language, threads closed etc. The player forums rock.

It's unusual. I agree. It is the best way to make sure the players get what they deserve -- first class support.

So, aside from going into a long winded philosophical discussion about support & player privs (I believe they deserve special forums!) that's about all I can say to address your issues.

If players disagree -- please post here.

I think the players will tell you that the forums are working nicely and we are building a real player community.
