have we been patched, im at work right now checkin if the servers have gone down but they havent? is that mean patch hasnt been released?

Oh it's been released all right. Just that we can't log into the actual game right now, only patch.
That server status page is so misleading

hehe missleading? the word your looking for is useless i believe they set it to show online 24/7 i think to entice more people to play

it's about 140mb with the optional patch included, but you have to apply the patches as well which takes almost as long for me
but with about 200kb/s down the downloading itself is pretty bearable, will probably take me an hour or something to fully patch the thing.

Took me close to an hour dling and patching on my 8Mbit connection.
*hate when it doesn´t dl at max speed*

Its setup to be at that speed to ensure that the dl isnt drained by high connection players
It dls at 1-3 speeds depending on ur connection so that other users are not slowed down when dling
Called A Fair System
Other Note hurry up and open the server

It was explained in another post by (lawrence i believe) is that even though the shard says open (after a reboot patch) it is only open to limited access ie GM's devs. Hence why you see shard is open and you get error shard not available. (though it would be good if they could modify it with Open (GM access only) but this is more of a nice to
