Wednesday 3rd November

At 11am Paris time (10am UK time) the Arispotle shard will be coming down for the long awaited Patch One. Downtime is estimated to be between three and four hours due to the extensive changes that it contains.

Please Note:
After the patch, when you log in, if you are out of Refugee land you will spawn in the capital city of your race. This will prevent any players getting killed due to the initial changes being made to their characters.

You can read more details on the patch here

http://www.ryzom.com/forum/showthread.php?t=4438

Klient and the forums will be open as normal during the downtime.

Keep the faith

This just in from Nevrax:

- All players will need to go and visit the trainers. We cannot guarantee that their Fame scores allow them to visit the trainers in any other cities than their own. This is why we return them home, rather than just the closest city.

- Any pack animals who they are travelling with will be teleported with them.

- Any pack animals left in stables will stay in the stables.
I mean no offense to Cerest or other NA admins, just wanted to pass this on to those who don't check the other boards.

I'm pretty sure that Fame affects wether or not you can use certain trainers in other cities/lands. I assume then that Fame is not going to be reset if they are worried that you might not be able to use a trainer in the place that you are hence the reason to transport you back to your home town.

Hmm, so the problem is for people who are in towns where they don't have good fame. That seems like an unlikely set of folks, but sure, I get it. :) Cool.

11am Paris is 5am Eastern. That's IF they patch the servers at the same time.

NO, they wont reset fame scores. Its just that some ppl were in lands other than their homes where they might have negative fame with the civilization, which will not allow u to train at their trainers.
SO they port u back home and save you a ticket :)
