I have been out farming mats for my guild many nights this week. I am a level 115 2H Mace type and use a second account as a healer. Originally, I was farming Vicious Kippee's and Dangerous Goarie and quickly filled my packs with a lot of fine quality, level 90 mats. I then went out killing some herbivores for things like linings and eyes, and spent all night killing MOBs to get maybe 1/10th of the drops I got from Kippees and Goaries. Is this an intentional part of the game, or an oversight on the part of whoever itemized the MOBs?

They are skewed which causes a fairly large problem of not being able to get a balanced collection of training mats from critters. If they simply fixed the inbalance it would go a long way towards helping the economy. (I think I'm actually agreeing with Shrike! eep!)

It would also make it possible to get jewelry mats for things other than from harvesting

I think harvesting is too tedious for me but there is really no other way to gather eyes and nails in any number like i could get shells etc from carnys...

I am also agreeing with Shrike on this one *gasp*. The mat drop rate on hervibores and plants are inproportionate with the drops from the carnivores. Theres nothing wrong with the carnivore drop rate, the others need to be fixed to match that.

It is possible to kill 10 plants without a single lining drop.
