In an attempt to try out heavy armour, a friend and I are combining efforts to obtain the 258 mats (129 each) needed to craft two heavy armour outfits. So far ...
Hard Luck! Harvesting is resulting in forage spoilage, toxic gases and/or explosions up to 80% of the time, on average. Re-hitting the extract button often results in 5 source mode 2's in a row. This is not encouraging. How will update 1 help harvesters? And, so far, this is the good news.
Hard Luck! In 3 attempts to make heavy armour, all have resulted in highly degraded qualities. 100% failure rate. Despite the small sample size, this too is not encouraging.
Has anyone considered what the resource situation would be like if the current server population quadrupled? Hard luck indeed.
