What Ryzom is missing "constructive criticism"

Post by sirbrent »

Ok so yer crafting a weapon and Bam! some *random* really cool enchantment pops up on yer item.......cool.

So where is the*Random* fat loot when ya kill some monster????

Where is the *Random* high level Materials, when ya Harvest some really dangerous area???

How bout a *Random* boost on Armor???

Surely ya don't expect us to kill the same mob over n over to get the same thing??? Or dig the same hole, or craft the same item??

When ya pull the handle of a slot machine, every once in a while ya win something, that makes it exciting.

After I drop my 1 millionth Kipee it better drop the Great Sword of *bling bling* or something!

Otherwise we just got us yet another grind with chat......

I think you're going to find that much of the player base came to SoR precisely for the fact that it's a no loot game. Granted, it would be nice to at least get ammo off humanoids with ranged attacks, but otherwise many of us are happy the way it is.

I do think it would be neat if quality levels varied a bit. Maybe even have a quartering skill that helped your chances of getting higher quality materials off of corpses, but I hope I never find a sword on a Kipee.

If you've dropped a million Kipees, I'm sure you'll have collected enough mats to craft--or have someone craft for you--the Great Sword of *bling bling*.

Its has not as much to do with loot as it does with the "random" I mean come on, can't they pop ammo or some coin or something on every other 1000th monster. Prolly wouldn't see so many "bored fighter posts eh"

Or similarly, why could it not drop a material a grade or two higher, or +20 or more quality over normal? Just something to bring a momentary smile to your face.

no thx

One thing I like about this game is that dogs and insects don't drop 'coins' or 'ammo' or 'giant swords of bling bling'.

Lets keep it real, for those that appreciate a little common sense and consistency.

Well I see what you are saying. And yeah that would be cool. A little surprise now and then.

But I do agree with the others about not having it come from a kipee dropping a sword or something. (although I guess it could have eaten someone and had some armour and stuff in him lol).
