Ryzom

Hello All! I'm quite new to the game and have read the manual (to help increase my understanding) to no avail. I currently have a very young character (Lvl 15 Magic/Lvl 5 Melee/Lvl 1 Craft/Lvl 1 Harvest) and I'm having a difficult time with some of my skill options.

1st, Magic Auras. I adventure solo much of the time and so I was wondering whether the benifits provided by these auras are worth acquiring? If anyone can shed any light in this area, I would be quite gratful.

2nd, Create Sap Crystals. Does this only work if I have the ability to craft an item? Can I create an enchantment through these crystals? Is it worth is to acquire Create Sap Crystal 1 & 2 for a soloing mage. I'm very confused with this. I tried to cyristalize one of my spells (by r-clicking) and nothing seemed to happen (I have nothing to show for it in my inventory). Again, I absolutely do not understand this area of the game and any advise or guidance would be greatly appreciated.

magic auras are more for team play so not really needed at your level or as long as you choose to solo for. they do work on yourself but i am pretty sure "self" heal and sap are much better at it.

creating sap crystals is for refilling enchanted weapons. enchanted weapons have a spell that has been crystalized and added to them allowing for a quick and free (not really) casting of the spell enchantment. so this is not needed unless you plan on using enchanted weapons. you probably will eventually but upgrading your acid and cold spell would probably be better for you at your current level. you should also know that creating sap crystals costs money. dapper is actually the pysical part of the crystal that contains the sap. not quite sure how much it costs now but last i made a sap crystal it was 5 dapper for one sap i think. its still kinda buggy too.
