Ranged Weap crafting

After lvl 50, and the Launchers Blue Prints, are there any more types fo weaps, or just upgrades.
Secondly do the upgrades effect the stats at all, or just the skin?

1. There are med qual level plans available at 100 for every ranged weap but everything you see at 50 is what you get for the rest of the game
2. Like every other upgrade, they just affect the color
