Browse Plans->Weapons->Magical Staff->click on Magic Focus

Sort those items by the stat you want (ie here you would want elemental power or cast speed) by clicking on the name at the top of the column.. Look down and find the best material for the job that you have access to kill for/harvest.. (this will most likely be choice or below, but the supremes do look nice!)

IMHO Supreme Hash Amber is a definite winner. My crafting partner in crime Linneth put together a q90 staff using various q200 mats we'd foraged that ended up with 85% elemental cast speed and power. (100% heal speed/83% heal power too )

Of course, the trick is finding a spot to forage the Supreme Amber, but most sources should be q200 so digging up a large pile of the stuff you'll be set for quite a few levels to come. Worst case Choice Hash Amber still nets you a 60/60 bonus and is fairly common, obviously Excellent will fall somewhere in the middle.

That said, this all goes out the window if they implement that magic gloves idea... *scowls at the devs, ready to attack* *grin*

Staffs can be made with 97% Elemental speed and power, and also 97% Healing speed and power (on the same staff). Its not Hash Amber that will give you these stats tho

Reqs depend on QL.

Best is relative to what line of spells you want to use, what is your priority: casting time or power? etc.

What priority do you place in embedded enchantments?

Well im an offensive mage, so more power than speed i would hope for...
