Thanks for the translation, Vladok.

Anyone else got the idea that the interviewer was asking really, really nice questions? Giving David Cohen the opportunity to tell about "what will be" instead of what is? Nice marketing opportunity and such?

As much as I like the promise of a deep roleplaying world, I fear that at the moment Ryzom is much more a level-chasing gamer's wet dream than a roleplaying platform. Will be difficult to turn that around on the same server I believe.

And about the team size a quote from the interview: "and the team grew up to about sixty people." Sorry, but in no way do I believe that there are 60 people working on Ryzom at the moment - at least no longer than, say, 3 hours a week each. What are all these guys doing? Where's the things they produce?

Sorry about my ranting but the answers in that interview had a striking resemblance to what a certain David Bowman could say. Great plans, great promises for the future, a lot of hot air and very little about the state of the game.

RP will be based on advanced political relations. It's up to you stop talking about "which price for this pike" or "lvl 50 melee look for team", but asking why there is so much Trykers wandering around Yrkanis yesterday :D
I see more and more people doing this.
But we really need a "RP chat" labelled "matis" for whole matis world (not only regions), and so on.

In a team of 60 people, don't forget that there is tons of administration staff, network geek and designers... Real "coders" who fix and add goodies may be only 10 ppl...

yes I am with nevrax no matters what ! :D
