Affliction spells

It has been acknowledged by a large faction of the playerbase that posts here that spells are unbalanced. Blind does what root and stun do plus a bit more. Madness is relatively unused and personally I've only seen one person with the 'slow attack' spell. The poll refers to what spell you use 'effectivlely' against monsters most.
For example, I use stun mainly to level defense. Unfortunately it is only effective in conjunction with a blind mage to preven hits during blind link downtime. So I use blind to level when there are no other mages about. It is therefore my prime spell because it is cast nearly every battle.
Please post your suggestions for any modification or nerfing of a spell and your reasons behind it in detail.
For example, I believe stun should stop attacks and incur a 40% to-hit penalty on the monster.
Blind should not root or stun a monster but allow for heavier modifiers 60-80% on the mob's offense and defense.
Madness should do less damage than if the mob attacked it self, but substancial enough to be 10-30% less than the equivalent level nuke.
Root is fine, except it's the same as in other games. What if it added a chance to berserk the monster so that any tanks near it take more damage and spells will have to be used, or a chance that it becomes partially stunned give it 10% offensive and defensive penalties

Just shut the heck up joseph, I got a long list of bugs they need to fix. How about we get our bugs fixed first before you suggest to them what they need to balance? Everything is working at the moment, and you want them to break something else?

We got your point in the "Blind NERFED?!' thread. It's understood that there's a problem and I'm fairly sure the developers are working on a fix. Please stop posting, joseph. Thank you.

Blind "working" ATM? Yeah, right... One thing is broken if it works too well, too. This is the case with blind.
Anyway, I don't really think this poll is ncessary exept as rethorical question. 99% will use blind primary. 1% perhaps root. All other off aff spells are asunderpowered as blind is overpowered.

I will admit that I edited this message and that it was in poor taste. However I believe that this was an honest thread of open discussion that would last for some time and spurn creativity before it was attacked by the same people who attacked me before. It would take some time before we could even come up with something to ask the devs to look at or fix and was making no demands. Keep in mind that Nevrax opened it's source code to anyone and seems to have an appreciation for new ideas.
I will post a new thread with a new poll and it's a forum for spell usage. Please refrain from any sort of negative content and stick to the subject.

Can a mod or admin do something about joseph's blatant attacks?
In case anyone's wondering, my posts he refers to:

I too find the filth pig and ruster toaster remarks offensive. Not to mention they violate the EULA.

Sort of. They open sourced the ENGINE source code, not for the client, server or any of the game-specific code. You can't go grab that source code, change something and say "Hey, I fixed blind!", because none of the real game code is open sourced.
Oh, and don't start any new threads. I've already seen two on the same topic and one which you didn't bother to preview before posting. We don't need a third post on the same topic from the same author.

I think you misunderstand what I meant about the code. They said the opened it up and will allow people to view the code and make their own stuff. this, they claim they will archive just because they believe in collecint peoples ideas. I never said we could go in and fix or modify the game and send it to them. It was just a comment on how gracious these people are in promoting creativity. This mindset I thought would apply towards their forums where you could have a free flow of ideas.
And I will continue to make new threads if you insist on ruining it and destroying the topic each time. For instance the X one was a mistake, I forgot to add the poll, then I made this one, where you attacked me. I have another one where I have ignored you, and merely reported your post as harrassment since you have done this on every single thread I've made. I will continue to do so for every response you make that ruins my thread. It isn't blatant cursing or insults but it is still harrasment. Like I said, you don't have to read my thread. These other ones shuold fade into the obscurity of unread threads. Would you mind editing your post on the spell affliction thread and telling us what your strategies are for casting? I'm sure people would find it interesting.
