Looking for a way to get around, other continents, i see the teleporter, but it only teleports me to my hometown. I could try mounts.....The continents do connect right?? (trying to get to a friend)
On a side note.
Is there any specific area that people trade in?

Teleporters: You buy a ticket from one (12k) and then you can use it wherever you like to retern to the place you brought it
Mounts: Added in patch 2, may very well help you get to new continants, but only if you can out run agro
ok.
the only way to get to other continats is to travers a very high level route either throught the prime roots or a back road, avoiding agro, or in a large enouth group to fight through
the best places for trade are your capital citys
