I spend some hours on new test server to see how it look like and get a feeling of game ... one thing i really need to know is where to submit bugs and comments? i send fey bug reports but there was not reply on this..
Harvesting ....
Harvesting changed a lot and im very glad that i see Nevrax listened to our suggestions.
1.) Harvesting is now in steps of 10 ql ... so you get on lv 45 aggresive quality 50 at lv 55 agresive quality 60 etc ...and gentile extraction is level lower ..
2.) to harvest you now must be right next to source so you cannot evade poison clouds so easy as now .. basicly this will make finally use of gentle rate and gentle speed at last and care plans as people will be very careful with nature
3.) You hae 2 separate skills one is find xx quality of materials and other is find ONLY that quality !! basicly you can search for supreme or lower AND you can search for Supreme only !!

i dont tested this very mucy but i have not seen any "BIG change to monster behaivor" what i have seen is that monsters hit for much more... timorous mektoub hit me for 150 ahmmm
Selling
Vendors now have new tabs "player, NPC and your sales basicly as you sell anything you get vendor base money and he by defoult is selling that for double price to other players i assume this changes with fame.
You can also set a price for what you will sell it so you will still get base money based on your fame BUT if come player buy your goods you will get double money or you can set any price you like!!
Any items you put on sale is visible to others ONLY on NPC you sold it to but your items you sold are visible from anywere and you can buy them back for same money you get by selling them (nice undo option if you sold some valuable item )
What i fear is that as items sales have duration of 7 days there will in end be too much items on vendors and we will need same filters to select what we wish to see from all that mass .. only from my playing in fey hours i have already some list of 30 40 items in "your sales" all with timer of 7 days remaining to be sold.
IMPORTANT now as you sell materials basic, fine, choice excelent and supreme from SAME material and same QL have different prices !!
Also Items Made from different materials have different price too !! it look like game keep info about ALL materials you used in cretion of item and in base of this create a new price! I made some boots from shop matrials and i sold them for 1300 and after i used some harvested materials mix i sold them for 1500 !!
Another change i noted is that Jewelery made from choice now have nice note about hoy much elemental protection it give ...
Pha amber choice earring have note "cold protection: 0%"
Now i was testing if jewelery wear off but at last in 5 fights i was wearing them on me they not lost any hit points.
CRAFTING..
BUG: descriptions on gloves are still saying SHOPAN staff and Frontline suplier in zora still wish to buy only SHOPAN STAF.
Cost for things changed ammo cost 40, health bossts cost 40 etc ... jewelery was NOT visible on my list probably this is not finished jet so it is not visible. but when i learned jewelery craft i still got earrings but i was unable to buy other plance like anklet or necklace.

In short.. spell SP cost reduction , damage and healing doubled link spells lowered in effect.

Well, I like the idea with the harvesting. I think most ppl know the feeling that you want for example choice mats, but still only find basic or fine + you have to start harvesting to know what subquality (basic, fine...) it is.
I wish that would be changed.
As for the mobs hitting harder... I don't know if I like that. I guess it is ok if it is balanced, but a timorous mektoub hitting for 150 is.. uhm.. a bit far off imo.
The vendor things, so selling it to the vendor and other players are able to buy it, is very nice. I like it. Often enough you have some crafted items that you don't need at all, the guild doesn't need anymore, and 10 mins after you logged out someone might be there that could use it.
So all in all, I sure as hell like it.
Same thing with the prices of materials, depending on their subquality. The higher risk in getting better subquality materials is now rewarded.. cool.
So for the main part, I see some good improvements.

Sadly, all this information is spread out over the different boards and I fear most of the feedback will go unnoticed ... to be honest, the version on the test server needs a lot more work before it can hit the production servers.

Plus i bet we'll see gas doing more damage to armour etc, again we will see a negative effect on player numbers if such comes to effect, still prices will go up, people will stop harvesting and the rest of us nutters will get rich. Although we will blow up more and get less xp and will harvest naked, carrying 5 spare picks...
As for gentle, beign usable, atm gentle is useless as the risk levels change just as much on avg as harmful does. The ultimate risk output it is better to use harmful then gentle. If they nerf this, it will become more advantagous to use harmful and get someone to calm the node then to switch to gentle and not get any mats.

Hmm that idea about ATS forum will be good i still dont know where to report suggestions or ideas about test server so if there is no GM nobody ever read our posts and there is no use that i waste my time there "testing" lol ..
Other thing there we need one Level boost to be able to test advanced stats of game lol i dont know if anyone except developers themsels are able to get to some lv 100 there .. i was ALONE on server and that is no surprise .. everyone will be more happy to play on its own server... If it will be possible to transfer your character even only temportaly or get some boost to skills like we was been given some times in FTB that will be usefull.
Still im for option to make this test server free "trail" for people who wish to test game before buy .. so you will fill it wit many people fast and then allow some people to play there after they buy game and so keep its characters abouve one level .. this will make this server populated and usefull for game development i think otherwise it is dead one ...
