Cerest, Should I be getting billed now?

Hi,

I got into Ryzom on September 22nd. I was lucky enough to find a copy in Gamestop.

This morning I recieived an email from the company indicating that I would be billed in 3 days.

I expected that I would not be billed until about this time next week due to the free week given by Nevrax.

Please advise.

Same thing happened to me. Checked my bank online this moring and my payment for Ryzom was taken out...

Me to wonder of wonders. Checked my bank and my email and im being billed already.

I posted this in Cerest's thread this morning, and I thought I would add it in here.

Hello,

Due to the free week coming up later in the month, you will find some people have been charged. This was unavoidable in some cases. However, their free week should show up in the following (this) month.

The free week cut off was Friday (Oct. 15). If you started your account after Oct. 15 your account will not register a free week after your included month.

How is this going to be dealt with for those of us that subscribed for month than one month as the entire amount has already been billed?

I am going to give you my assumption here, but I am going to make sure my assumption is correct by asking the billing people.

My assumtion: If you purchase 3 Months, you will get 3 Months + 1 Week prior to being billed again.

If this is incorrect I will definitely come back and let you know.

It says that the cut off was Oct. 15th but I started my account in like the middle/end of Sept. I think it was like Sept. 23 or 24th so that still doesn't explain why i didn't get my free week.
I'm not really upset about it or anything, it's no big deal and I won't quit the game over it like some of the drama queens on here lol I REALLY like this game and plan on sticking with it for the long term. It has got to be the best game I have played, at least in my opinion and I've played ALOT of them!

My situation is the same as Halford1.

I started September 22nd and subscribed for monthly fees. After the total mess that Horizons was, I would never sign for more than monthly until I am sure that the game actually works as promised.

The billing I received this morning reflects the monthly charge correctly.

I am also not complaining about being billed. I have no intentions of cancelling as the game has surely lived up to its promise and I am looking forward to the 2 patches identified so far.

I just am not clear about when the week will be applied and if there is an error that will cause issues with all players that were in prior to the October 15th deadline.

Hello,

I guess I didn't explain it clearly in my first post.

Some people were charged due to the free week script being applied late in the billing cycle. If you have already been charged and you fit in with the cut-off, you will get your free week the next month or next billing cycle. Your charge will remain the same, however it will be applied a week later.
