Pentium III 2 Ghz or equivalent?

This has probably already been discussed, so I apologize for posting again but I didn't see it.

What is the actually minimum requirement for this game? To the best of my knowledge Intel never made a PIII 2.0 GHz, thought they went P4 around the 1.5 mark.

Must be a typo, on the box the minimum requirements are stated as: "Pentium III 1 Ghz or equivalent (2 Ghz recommended)".

I run the game on a P4, 1.7 Ghz, 512 MB, GeForce FX 5200 - and I would consider that a realistical minimum configuration. The game's quite choppy (frequent disk activity) but playable for me when I'm near the mainland cities, it runs fine when I'm out in the wild.

I play with an Athlon 2600+, 1GB RAM, and an nVidia 5700 Ultra. The only time I've noticed things getting a bit sluggish is when I'm in a large city and there is a weather event going on (rain storm for example). Any other times I have no problems.
