Does it bother anyone that enchanments let non-casters cast nearly as good (if not better) as a caster? Maybe we should charge a whole bunch of dap to make Crystals.. I'm serious, especially with Blind the way it is, we could effectively make ourselves useless... Am I off base here?

I think if the affliction spells are changed soyou need a highlvl blind/stun/whatever to effect a highlvl mob this will solve itself - if a weapon can only cast a spell 5 times it's not really effecient, nevermind that warrior usually not have big amounts of sap themselves.

My only problem with enchantments as they currently work is the xp gained. Why is someone, myself included, gaining experience with magic when their weapon's enchantment is doing the work?

Exactly. I think It should go to whomever created the crystals

Seriously though, it allows others to get all sorts of XP without having to buy the spells that would normally be needed to get that kind of XP. Unless I'm mistaken, you could level 100 in Elemental Magic without ever spending a single skill point on a missle spell... Unless things do get fixed, I could really see this being a problem. Now sure, they lack the adaptability that a caster has, but I don't think that's a trade off. I'm not one that has to have everything exactly fair, but to me it seems kind of like if magic users were suddenly to start getting ranged fight XP everytime they cast a missle spell...

They still need the sap to cast em, even off enchantments.

Its a great way to raise magic if you didnt get the magic pac.

I wouldnt worry about blind and weapons, there is only a limited number of charges a weapon will hold before it runs out, and its not a great deal, so its something to use in a emergency rather than every fight.
