it's unclear what you mean by horribly. asset textures are in png format, but max files expect them to be tga format. texture path's might need some modifying too.cutebunnie wrote:Hiya
I want to know if its possible to use ryzom models in another software? I want to export the models in .fbx or so, but it seems ryzom models are designed only to work with ryzom core rootkit it seems.... I tried opening them in 3d studio max and it was horrible. It just wont open with 3d studio max and not even impossible to export it seems.
there is script to fix it inhttp://dev.ryzom.com/wiki/ryzom/Convertingryzom_assetsDatabase
it's also better to ask asset / core questions in http://dev.ryzom.com/ forums
