1) Nope, there's 3 servers, one for each community. (English, French and German) You'll want Arispotle for English speaking.
2) Nope. (for the most part)
3) Nope. You'll be together at the starting island, and you'll have the option to all go to the same place when you leave for the mainland. You'll just have to agree on where that is.
