Ryzom

Clicked on Pumpkin now can't get back in. Get past login / character select and then about 3/4 away around loading circle and runtime error. Happened twice ...rebooted...happened again.

Now doing 187 MB patch (back to 2007)
Edit .... Now doing 41 MB Patch
Edit .... now doing anudder patch

Problem persists until you delete all files in user directory (Swindt solution)

Default would be C:\ProgramFiles\Ryzom\User

As you said, the solution is the clear the content of the user/ directory located by default in : C:\ProgramFiles\Ryzom\User

If it doesn't work, you can try to delete the content of the unpack/ directory located by default in : C:\ProgramFiles\Ryzom\Unpack

It's not the solution because it fixes for a short period, crashes again, and then back to square one.....

I have emptied both files and still can not reenter the game. Any other suggestions?

I'm back in game. I was being too impatient. It seemed to lock-up after entering my password but after waiting about a minute it patched. Seems fine now. Thanks

Yep, logged in next day and got error. It don't stay fixed.
