I will never forget how much he done for this community, and yet always happy to come ingame, will never forget the last words he said when he was ingame.
"i can't wait to be home and logging back in ryzom"
Wish this day never happened

He was so strong. He never let anything get him down. Always a smile, a good word no matter how much he was hurting.
All he was waiting for was to get home and get back ingame.
He will always be in my heart and thoughts.

My heart broke when Vrixy phoned earlier to tell me the news.
Carl was always being there to listen to me when it felt like life could get no worse, always there to put a smile on my face, and for finding me no matter where I was (in game, of course), you will be missed dearly by everyone who knew you.

A true warrior in every sense of the word, in game and in real life. He fought the good fight longer and harder than any man should have been asked to...and he did it with a smile on his face and hugs for everyone all around.
Carl Schofield was also a High Officer in The New Empire. He was my in game husband, Rivendell. We were married by Dever/Sixxus, also a NE member who has passed. My hope and prayer is that they are up there together catching up on things. They both loved this game so much. Carl is gone but never forgotten.
Carl's long battle is over
Sword and shield he lays
At a young warrior's feet.
Humbly he asks the man
"Would you like these?
You can have them.
I don't need them
Anymore, see? I've got a
Teleport ticket here
that says, I'm free..."
My sincere condolences to Carl's family and to all of the live's he's touched in game and in real life. God bless you all. The only good in this is that he is not suffering any longer. I will miss him horribly. </3
~Sincerely, Lynn aka Ilialyn

Its sad news, fare-the-well Lanti, it was nice to see someone who enjoyed the game so much and cared so much about others. Cheers a drink will be drunk to you.
