Been having increasing problems of late with camera which is oft getting me killed. Other guildies and player shave reported same issue. Not seen this issue in 6 years of gameplay until last 3 months.

Here I am digging in KL, when I am a little slow noticing the puckas getting close and I take off. As I am running, I try and change direction and instead of my toon changing direction and camera following, only my camera angle changes and my toon runs into a wall.

Hitting numlock seems to cycle thru about 3 possible options .... sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't .... and sometimes sitting down and standing seems to help then, but I can't figure out why it's changing from the default behavior in the st place. Any idea how to eliminate this from popping up numerous times per session ?

Have seen this occur as well. I have noticed that when I stop running, the directional keys ( I use wasd) seem to function as intended, start moving again and they take over the camera.

Only successful way I have been able to get it to go back to normal tp'in or taking a dirt nap. The num-lock key, sitting and standing, and numerous other things haven't worked for me.

Interesting note though, I have only had this occur when armed with a pick. May just be coincidence however.

Yes, only seen w/ pick in hand also.....but that's when I do most of my running

Then again, in both instances, we have occupation missions active.

That would involve running around for hours in Egg Room without a pick for no reason .

Oft discussed in uni and region chats.

From the testing I've done, allbeit limited, it occurs only when having a pick equipped and with an active occupation mission of any sort. Also add in only when running after a critter started chewing on me.

So to sum up... pick equipped, occupation missions active and under attack.

Was able to confirm outside of Kitin Lair, Digging flowers in GoC, got attacked by cuttler, ran off and all I could do while running is change camera angle w/ directional keys..... stop, and then I could change direction but as long as run key held down, could not change direction.
