Ryzom

As the title says I am having trouble getting into the character select screen. I have played on and off for a while and a few friends are trying out the game so I figured I would come back for a bit. I get past the login screen where I put my id and password. It starts to log to the character select screen then seems to freeze at connecting. I do not understand why its doing this as I had no problems connecting about a year ago when I had played last.

It was freezing even before I got to character select. I managed to guess and figure out the problem. Turns out the pc was running some sort of secondary web protection that I did not know about. Gotta love S. Korea and I cannot wait to get back to America btw. I turned it off and it connected no problems. Thank you all for your help and responces.
