you can use ingame forums for that also... 
shift+W -> Forums -> Guild Registry (Arispotle)

Unfortunately I think you'll be hard pressed to find a full-on RP guild left here on Arispotle. Some may be semi-RP, probably dabbling now and then, but I would expect guild chat's to be extensively OOC.
