Challenge idea #2

My next idea of challenge is very simple. Have a player run from one end of a continent to the other end of it without stopping and in one single run.

-Player has to be a level-1 in everything.
-No magic has to be used to protect him/her.
-No fast running stanza is to be used.
-No running on the border of the map. Common roads have to be used.
-If player dies, he has to start all over.
-No mount can be used.
-Player has to run. No walking allowed.
-Player has to make it so he/she is running a streight line (if possible). Small route deviations are possible but have to be small.
-No stopping.
-Swimming is allowed only for a maximum period of 1 min.

To make it even more thrilling, the player can even do it in his underware. That way he/she will prove there is no armor usages at all.

To make it more challenging, the community has to decide which continent(s) is(are) to be used.

If someone thinks a rule has to be added or modified, please say so. Your suggestion will then be examined.

I think that rule turns it from a challenge into a game of russian roulette.

The only way you could possibly run a level-1-in-everything character straight ahead, on the roads, all the way through, would be utter lottery-winning luck. The roads run through aggro.

Finding a path that avoids all the aggro would be plenty of challenge, but could not stay on the roads. Learning it well enough to do it at a constant run would be even tougher, and probably immensely time consuming. And then the season would change and your route wouldn't work.

Frankly, even without that rule, I think it's unlikely in the extreme to succeed, given that all lands have bottlenecks where timing a sprint past aggro is required - only running back and forth in place would let you time it right. Maybe, just maybe, you could do it in the jungle, from the ramp in the west to either Paramount Stock in Void or Withered Stock in Grove of Umbra. Desert might be possible, too, with the longer sight distance you can get, but it would be rough. I seriously doubt making it through Heretics Hovel that way.

Oh, and Aeden Aqueous is right out, given the limit on swimming. :p

Anyway, a heck of a challenge, and one that would need video proof.
