I hope people dont overlook this game.

I hope that in the next month this game will get more people but i am afraid a lot of people will shift to World of Warcraft or Eq2. I hope that something huge sticks out in this game that keeps players asking more and more. Sure the raid engine is cool but SoR was not marketed well. Hell i never even heard of the game till i got a magazine and there a picture of it. And the game was allready released. Sadly i think that this game will get overlooked and i believe that is a sad thing becuase this game is one hell of a game.

EQ2: G4Y, g@y, gay

Actually... EQ2 is a decent game, nothing special about it tho... maybe the voice overs for every npc is something new and different.

well, on the other hand:
i hope nevrax will have patch 1 and 2 ready within the next 1 - 2 months, because chances are that many people will be disappointed with EQ2 and WOW and then look for something special and this might be SoR by then, we'll see!

WoW and EQ2 will eat subs from pretty well every online game there is. One thing in Ryzoms favour is those currently playing are pretty passionate about it. Just try and criticize some element of the game and you'll find out what i mean.

Unfortunately i find it hard to believe that Ryzom will attract many subscribers after WoW and Eq2 release. At least for a month or so, so lets hope Nevrax gets enough subs by then to keep them satisfied, and to keep the playerbase happy.
