I vote in this thread against further splitting of the forums. Why? Because nobody reads all of them and people start to spam to get attention. (Sorry Mio!)
Can't we get them all in one place? No 20 accounts needed, no different hostings, systems etc?
If you want to integrate stuff, please start with the game first.
I have seen for example the ingame help system being (ab)used to display custom webpages and homins achieved amazing results with this. Interactive management systems, crafter directories and much more. Imagine this together with the new ryzom api features.
Now it's "fixed" again, to make Atys a safer place (doh), but imagine one could access the forums from ingame. With auto login, sending suggestions, guild management etc. Why do everything twice?
Ingame forums, ingame mail, ingame tickets, ingame amber cubes
outgame forums, outgame mail, outgame suggestions, outgame lore.
Why so complicated devs? Why?
Create kami libraries for the lore, karavan access terminals to forums and other interactive stuff. So much to do!

*Blinks* Hell yes, me wants ingame lore library to pointlessly waste my life away while waiting for guildies to come online. That would be so nerdy and awesome!

My problem with "lists" is you may have different feelings about each one and second, I'm not interested in bouncing back between multiple sites....and since you brought it up here .....
1. New areas would be nice but the effort, I expect, would be years in the making....not going to see soon unless started many moons ago.
2. "Frankly my dear ...." well you've seen or heard the most famous movie line ever.
3. Pets would be cool but "but any animal" would one hell of a coding job.
4. Most doable item that can be done in a reasonable time frame.
5. I'd like to read the lore ....once ... and maybe when stuf fgets added, so not really important to me.
How about a No. 6 ?
6. Bring back the Momos from extinction !

I kinda find the above two statements contradictory .... 2nd seems to promote in game access to the web whereby in 1st it's labeled as abuse.
I preferred playing in full screen mode which, on my laptops / desktops at least, meant no "alt tabbing". Accessing BM, raum and other sites was a PITA so an alternative whereby I could do it in game was something desirable. Then along came a few bugs which made playing in windowed mode a necessity and gives me access to the Powerdesk "Coolbar" so I can easily switch again between programs.
However, I can't see how accessing a web page in game could be considered "abuse" or why Atys is "safer" w/ this disabled. I find this really no different than using the in game mp3 player instead of iTunes or Winamp.

I'm supporting the idea to integrate content ingame, but I wanted to point out the last attempt was not what the used feature was intended for and hence removed.
I hope we will get a legit option to display custom webpages inside Ryzom one day. Together with the api... so much possibilities.
The help system "browser" was limited, of course, but the html could be adjusted to it's capabilities without too much trouble.
Give us an /open_url <url> command and I'm happy

Can we add content filters ? One thing I couldn't stand to see any more off is albinos walking around in thongs or tanned brutes walking around in "Depends"
