Just a question ...

I have to say, I feel a bit lost now. Am I right that comments on own feelings towards developments regarding both the game and the forums should be posted at the forum linked by Yumeroth here:
http://forums.ryzom.de/showpost.php?p=4 ... stcount=13 ? Yumeroth wrote, "If you want to give opinions or propose new ideas, please use the feedback site". I have some sort of understanding that ideas should be posted there, but obviously that forum is not for starting comments on developments or give your feelings upon forum changes or manners. Honestly, I'm not going to look up three different forums, or make a careful plan on how to post what comment on which site, or even look up three forums for information. So is the old forum lined up for a close-down, as seemingly it is not longer intented for posting at all? I'm quite puzzled, and would be thankful for a ... calm and reasonable answer.
Thanks in advance.

I would just like to say that while the feedback site may be fine for submitting a fleshed out idea to the developers, it is entirely unsuitable for the discussion of ideas that needs to take place before they are in a state suitable for submission.
The closure of such discussion threads in this forum leaves a very sour taste.

I agree about the "very sour taste" and I´m not pleased about it.
But I started the suitable request on that same right away.
Now we´ll see if its regarded in any way.
I´m sorely disappointed in the treatment of probably valuable discussions around today though.
Its a shame.

The main problem is : how a dev can read 3x3 (official forum, OOC forum an Uservoice) for each community everyday to find the ideas?
"Honestly, I'm not going to look up three different forums", please takes the place of the men that need read all forums because you don't want use the tool for ideas? Just egoist...
What the differences between this forum and uservoice? The colors?
Why give additional lot of work to devs just for a personnal preference?
Why see all black everytime ? I'm disappointed...

I'm not proposing that I'm a philanthropist. But then I was not posting ideas but my opinions and feelings towards developments, as mentioned before. As obviously these are not for posting on Uservoice (which is just for ideas), nor the RP forum (for obvious reasons), and - if I take Yumeroth by word - not here, I just feel a bit lost. As far as I can see, I have three forums available, but are told to post on neither of them.

I am sorry, but UserVoice is not a forum at all. There is no provision for discussion. It is simply an idea submission and voting system. We are not asking the developers to watch the discussion threads here, we are asking them to allow us to discuss ideas here amongst ourselves so that when they are put up on UserVoice for voting they are the best they can be.

Maybe the devs want us to use the comments on the feedback site? Some clearing up would be nice, just so the userbase and the creators/operators can get along easier. Lots of messy situations can be avoided this way.
As far as I know the feedback site is preferred to the in-game suggestion feature now (for game related suggestions anyway).

Why? Because they gave a lot of additional work to us when they decided to be cheap and start installing all of these free tools left & right to provide them with what they wanted.
Now we have a mishmash of junk all over the place that
WE are expected to sign up to and look at. So I expect
THEM to do the same, or at least let us use the old stuff as we used to or replace it with something we
CAN use...
If they had of thought this through properly they could of built whatever extra tools they wanted, move everything to one place, and just link it all to our game accounts. They've obviously got someone who's pretty handy with PHP & databases. Would of prevented all of this confusion and bitterness.
