Problems with patching and Belkin Nostromo loadout manager

I've figured out this one but I thought I'll leave a trace to help out anyone else having the same problem.

Each time the game patched itself, it never restarted and when restarted manually there were some errors saying "checksum error" or "checksums don't match" or something similar, and Ryzom then would restart and restart endlessly. A complete reboot would sometimes help, sometimes not.

It turns out that patching and Belkin Nostromo loadout manager (that's a memory resident proggy that keeps the configs for Belkin gamepads and such, whoever is usong Belkin products should know) do not like each other.

So if someone is using the loadout manager, it needs to be turned off when patching, after the pach is successful it can be turned on again.
